Fall Direct Give
When: all of September
Contact: Wendy Nathan
The PTSA is launching our annual Fall pledge drive with a goal of $20,000. The drive will last all of September. Every dollar you give will go straight to Pathfinder to support the programs listed above. Your contribution is 100% tax deductible. We encourage each family to give $20, but a little more if you can. Learn more on our Direct Give web page or download a direct give form. You can also use the PayPal donate button above.

Holiday Wreathes
When: First weekend after Thanksgiving to Winter break
Contact:Brent and Mary Morgan
Our annual Wreath Making fundraiser is a Pathfinder K-8 tradition. Students, teachers, and lots of parents help to make and sell beautiful live wreaths, with all proceeds supporting Pathfinder’s renowned camping trips and other outdoor adventures. Last year, we made over $10,000 for our outdoor education programs! Many thanks to Lynette Martin, Brent & Mary Morgan, and Sharon Aliza for leading this huge effort. Learn how you can get involved on our Wreath Making web page

Spring Auction
The 2013 auction is on March 16th. Thanks to Mary Lane for stepping into the chair role. Thank you to Paula Wilkinson and her amazing auction committee for another successful PTSA auction held on Saturday, March 17 2012 at the Brockey Center at SSCC. Once again our fantastic school community showed their support for Pathfinder K-8 by raising their paddles to raise nearly $60,000. The 2012 Fund A Need focused on a new playground. Thank you to everyone for your generous support for Pathfinder K-8 School. Learn more and get involved here.

Additional Fundraisers
We always welcome direct donations, of any amount, which are fully tax-deductible. Additionally, here are some other ways you can support Pathfinder K-8 throughout the year and in the normal course of your day-to-day life:

  • Box Tops for Education:
Remove the little pink “Box Tops for Education” label on hundreds of General Mills products and drop them in the box in the front lobby. Pathfinder K-8 gets 10 cents per label. You’ll be surprised how quickly those dimes turn into dollars!
  • Thriftway Receipts:
1% for Education, Morgan Street Thriftway participates in this program. All you have to do is save your receipts and bring them to school. Drop them in the paint can in the front lobby, Pathfinder K-8 receives 1% of the total of all receipts!
  • Safeway eScrip:
Register your Safeway card number online and Pathfinder K-8 receives from 1-4% of all of your Safeway purchases automatically! Go to www.escrip.com to learn more and to register! Pathfinder K-8 is already enrolled as a registered group.
  • Schoolpop:
This is an online shopping portal. Register at www.schoolpop.com and launch the site before starting any of your online shopping. Hundreds of major retailers and merchants participate in this program, where a percentage (up to 18%!) of your purchase goes directly to Pathfinder K-8. You can also participate “offline” by registering certain credit cards with Schoolpop or buying gift certificates or scrip; when you shop at their participating merchants your purchase is credited to Pathfinder K-8.
  • Target Visa and Debit cards:
Target’s Take Charge of Education Program provides a percentage of all purchases charged to the Target Visa or Debit cards directly to Pathfinder K-8. The card can be used anywhere Visa is accepted.
  • PCC Scrip:
Contact Amy Bullard for more information.Pick up a scrip from the front-office. Load your scrip at PCC for any amount and 5% of your purchases will go to Pathfinder.
  • Goodsearch:
This is a site through which you search and make purchases from merchants and a percentage is donated to Pathfinder. The site is: http://www.goodsearch.com/. Pathfinder is already listed on this site.
  • One Cause:
  • This is another search and purchase site in which a percentage is donated to Pathfinder.
    The site is:http://www.onecause.com/signin
